For the fourth film in the UrbanArtistry Presents... series we showcased the amazing "Chile Estyle" by Pablo Aravena.
Ive been a big fan of Pablo's work since I had the pleasure of watching his first film Next... A Primer On Urban Painting (more on this later)
So when the opportunity came to bring both him and his brand new film to Manchester I obviously jumped at the chance.
Not only did we screen the documentary but Pablo also sat down with me to have a chat about his career so far. We covered the past, present and future of his film making journey and also opened it up for him to answer some questions from the audience.
Pablo is a natural born story teller and had so many interesting tales to tell from Chile Estyle's production.
We spoke a little about Next... which will unbelievably be 20 years old next year. I purposely didn't dig too deep, there's so many more questions to ask and Pablo will be returning in March for a 20th Anniversary screening. Dates will be announced early next year so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
